Telus cancels ‘unlimited’ data plan

Telus has canceled one of its most popular data plans: a $75/month plan that allowed cell phones to be used as modems for laptops. One of the big reasons is due to “abuse.” It seems that unlimited meant “within reason” and some customers found themselves dropped by the telecom giant.

Comcast sets bandwidth limit

Uh oh. We all knew that this was coming: Comcast has finally decided to limit their residential customers to 250 GB/month. Judge orders woman to return library books

JoAn Karkos took out two copies of “It’s Perfectly Normal: Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex and Sexual Health”, a sex education book for kids, late last year and refused to return them, saying, “I have been sufficiently horrified of the illustrations and sexually graphic, amoral, abnormal contents.
